LUKE HAWKESBURY

I have worked in the UK real estate sector for more than 28 years, much of that time advising on and facilitating the acquisition and disposal of some of central London’s most significant residential-led development projects.


From 2011 to 2024, I was a Senior Director at Savills, specialising in high-value land transactions and strategic development consultancy. My clients included developers, institutional investors, family offices, charities, and private individuals. Before joining Savills in 2001, I worked at Property Vision Ltd, where I acquired prime London homes and investment properties for retained private clients.


Over the years, I have advised on some of the largest and most high-profile transactions in the capital, including the sale of One Grosvenor Square on behalf of the Canadian Government (£306 million – a record price per square foot for a London development site without planning consent), as well as landmark instructions such as Audley Square House (£145 million), Harcourt House (£75 million), and York Terrace East (£118 million).


After nearly 25 years with Savills, I established Hawkesbury Advisory Ltd to provide independent, discreet, and highly tailored advice to clients seeking opportunities in London’s residential and mixed-use development markets.
